Wolf Mountain Kennel would like to formally welcome Jeremy Souney to our team! Jeremy recently relocated to the Rutland area. For the last six years, he has been pursuing his passion for working with dogs professionally. After several years and hundreds of hours spent apprenticing alongside another trainer in Portland, Oregon, Jeremy earned his CPDT-KA professional certification. The Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers offers this program which stands for Certified Professional Dog Trainer- Knowledge Assessed. Jeremy is an American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. We regularly hold AKC Canine Good Citizen Classes for dogs to earn the title and certificate. Find out more here:

Jeremy also started and operated his own dog walking and training business in Portland. During that time, he also worked as a trainer at a gun dog kennel teaching basic obedience to a wide variety of dog breeds. Jeremy feels that there are few things in life that are more rewarding than a close bond with our dogs, and he strives to help people build stronger relationships with their dogs by showing them how to better understand their canine behaviors.
