Ari was my first service dog, my best friend, and a one in a million dog. I was so blessed to share my life with her for thirteen years. I don't think I could put into words everything she did for me. She was like a force of nature. Wolf Mountain is named for Ari Blackwolf.
Ari always lived life to the fullest. When she retired from service work, she was bored. We took up Rally Obedience and AKC Trick Dog titles for fun. She excelled at both and the year she got her Veteran Championship from WCRL Rally, she was the 8th ranked Veteran rally dog in the country. Ari also loved dock diving.
She traveled the country with me during her life, and even into retirement she still enjoyed traveling to dog training seminars and "supervising".
Ari's favorite things were water and snow. So you can imagine she was overjoyed when we moved back to New England from Florida-- where there is no snow and dogs can't go in the water because of alligators! I'll always be glad we moved to Vermont when she was still young enough to enjoy swimming constantly and playing in blizzards.
