FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What to Bring?  What should you pack for your dog's stay?

FOOD:  Please bring your dog’s normal food for the duration of their stay.  If you do not provide a scoop, we will use ours, which is a 1 cup sample scoop from Purina.   We recommend that you send more than enough food.  Any extra food will be returned to you when you pick up your dog.

MEDICATION: Please pack any medication your dog takes regularly

If your dog is due for flea/tick preventive or heart-worm preventive, simply send it with them marked with the date when they should have it administered and we will administer it.

BEDDING:

For dogs that can safely be left unsupervised with soft bedding, you may send a bed or blanket from home if they would prefer that. Please don't send anything irreplaceable, please only send items that are easily machine washable. We can also supply bedding.

Send items at your own risk.  While we will make every attempt to return everything to you, any item sent with your dog MAY NOT BE RETURNED TO YOU.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND TOYS, we have plenty of toys here for the dogs to play with.

Smaller items:
Dogs may bring smaller items such as kongs, edible chews, or non edible chews IF they can be safely left unsupervised with those items.  Those items can be left in the kennel for the dog to enjoy. Please only send items that your dog can be left safely unsupervised with.

-If your dog is trained on an E Collar or a bark collar, your dog should bring this with them.

Where will my dog sleep?

We have individual kennel suites for the dogs. Dogs need to be separated for safety and comfort when they are resting, eating, or unsupervised. Your dog will be assigned a suite as a bedroom and this is where your dog will stay any time he/she is not out with us doing activities. Dogs get tired running and playing, and this is their private space to go and rest.  Our kennels are spacious and extremely clean.  The indoor area is heated or air conditioned as needed, depending on the season. We will provide dog cots or soft bedding, depending on the needs of each dog. Dogs who live together and get along well may share a kennel.
